Welcome to Part 1 of your Course:  

 

Day 1 (Online) - Instructions:  The day prior to the in-class portion will be online. Videos and written evaluation can be accessed the entire day prior to the in-class portion of the course.

• When you are ready to watch the video series, please follow the directions below or click on the link to watch the video: HOW TO REGISTER

1 - Follow the link provided and log onto the Heart and Stroke Portal: Heart and Stroke resuscitation portal account (you may need to create an account if you don't already have one)

​

• Once you are logged in, click on "FIND A COURSE."  (Top menu bar)

• Scroll down to the "COURSE FILTERS" and enter the COURSE CODE.  The Course Code can be found in your "PRE-COURSE INFORMATION PACKAGE" that was sent to you the day your registered with us.  

• NOTE:  ACLS and PALS Interim Part 1 courses are always posted for the day prior to the "IN-CLASS" portion of the course.   

• Once you have found the correct course, click on the course and "REGISTER" by clicking the large red button found on the top right of the screen.

• NOTE: there will be no ZOOM meeting. Group discussions and instructor lead training will be done on Day 2.

​

• Click on "LAUNCH ONLINE CONTENT." All that is required is that you watch the videos and complete the written exam found at the bottom of the video series.  

• Print off your results (or take a screen image) and bring them into class for the instructor the next day for your Part 2 SKILLS TESTING.

Day 2 -  IN-PERSON: 9am - 5pm (approx)

• Stations are disinfected between participants
