Minimal to Moderate Dental Sedation Course:
Who is the DSAT course for:
For dental staff who assist in office based minimal, moderate, and/or deep sedation.
The offering of sedation in dentistry is gaining widespread popularity, and certification to assist in dental sedation is also in high demand. The DSAT course is centred on training dental staff on the fundamentals of patient care in a dental office where sedation and anesthesia are administered. Participants will learn how to operate within a team-based setting to ensure safe and effective management of patients across all levels of sedation and anesthesia. Using an online format, theoretical elements are completed using a self-paced learning style. Once the participant completes the online modules, the in-class practical hands-on instruction day (and final exam) can then be scheduled. (The entire course must be completed within 8 months.)
